History

Roland Rock BIO Bio: I started off playing music in 1964 Ibadan, Nigeria as a youth, busked in Barcelona in 1965 and 1977. Jammed for Jimi Hendrix and with Albert Collins, opened for the Mothers, Steppenwolf, Sly and the Family Stone (who didn’t show!) played festivals with the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, etc., and have played out extensively in the USA West Coast in Seattle and all over Washington State; in Oregon-Portland, Hood River, Coos Bay, Brookings; California-San Francisco, Richmond, Los Angeles; Alaska – Juneau; and in Canada: Vancouver, Campbell River, Tahsis, and Fort Saint John; and in other states in the USA including the Hard Rock in Pittsburgh, P;, Sturgis Rally in Beulah, WY; Hot Springs, Montana, Winston-Salem, NC , Fort Worth, TX
I have performed in the North Coast for the last 11 years– EUREKA, Arcata, Ferndale, Redway, Garberville, Fortuna, Ferndale Humboldt County Fair, Crescent City, + many outdoor gigs including 4th of July, Friday Night Market, Humboldt County Fair, McKinleyville park, Madaket Plaza Thursday night, –brew pubs, wineries, taverns, casino,, bars, parties.
